Dominique Yen is a Associate professor, Producer, Artistic Director, Choreographer, Dancer, and Pilates / Gyrotonic Instructor. She received her BFA and MFA in Dance from the California Institute of Arts. Currently, she is Associate Professor of Dance Department, Tainan University of Technology. She is Artistic Director of Feng Dance Company. She is also study in PHD program of Graduate school of Contemporary Visual Culture and Practice of National Taiwan Art University. She has International Pilates Instructor Certification and Gyrotonic / Gyrokinesis Foundation Certification.

She received LMF Dance Award from Cloud Gate Dance Company and Young Out Standing Artist Award from Kaohsiung city government. She was the Taiwanese choreographer representative for Asia Choreographer Festival and Cloud Gate 2 2004 choreographer event. Dominique Yen has been invited to choregraph and perform in many theater, production and dance companies, such as Calarts Dance Ensemble, 20th anniversary of Taipei National Theater, Taiwan Season of Edinburg Fringe in England, New Idea Production of Taipei National Theater, Horse Dance Theater, Feng Dance Company, Taipei Capital Ballet, Kaohsiung City Ballet, Ku and Dancers, Assembly Dance Company and Sun-Shier Dance Theater…ect. Her work has been present in Asia, America and Europe.

From 1997-2011, She taught at many university and dance program, such as Performing Art Department of Shu-Te University, Fu-Jen University, Taipei Physical Education College, Kaohsiung Medical University, Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages, Dance program of National Zhong-Zheng senior high school, Dance program of National Cha-Chi Senior high school, Dance program of National Lan –Yang Senior High School, Dance school of Taipei Hwa-Kang Art school, and Dance School of Chung-Hwa Art School. Besides, She has over 20 years Pilates teaching experience.
