Hsing-Fang Wu, who graduated from the Dance Department at Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, joined the Department of Dance, Tainan University of Technology (formerly Tainan Junior College of Home Economics) as a full-time teacher in 1991. Wu is currently an associate professor in the Department of Dance, Tainan University of Technology.
Wu had participated in the annual ballet performance of "Lo Goddess" of the Hua Kang Dance Company. Wu also performed in "Sifan" directed by Mr. Nengsheng Yu and "Qu Yuan" of the Hua Kang Dance Company. Upon graduation, Wu was selected to become a member of Taipei Fork Dance Company. She followed Dr. Fengxue Liu and experienced academic and cultural interactions in Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces in China in 1994. Wu directed the festival dance company of Cultural Season of LuErMen TienHoGong, Tainan since 1995, including the dance work of“ Welcoming the God of Treasure”. Wu has been invited as a reviewer of "Dance Competitions in Taiwan" for many years. Recently, Wu has been devoted to and participated in the creation with cross-field-artists in multi-disciplinarily collaborations and performances.
