Part-time Lecturer

Lin Po-hung graduated from National Taiwan University of Sport, Graduate School of Dance, Performance and Choreography. He is currently Adjunct Lecturer of the Department of Dance at both Tainan University of Technology and National Taiwan University of Sport, as well as a part-time teacher of Dance Classes for Talented Students at Changhua Arts High School. Previously, he has performed as a dancer at the Taipei Folk Dance Theatre and Century Contemporary Dance Company, as well as worked as a part-time teacher of Dance Classes for Talented Students at Yunlin County Mailiao Senior High School and Niao Song High School. In recent years, he has assumed the role of judge for the National Educational Cup Kuo Shu Tournament and National Zong Tai Cup Martial Arts Tournament, as well as the role of judge for the Dance Award of Department of Dance at National Taiwan University of Sport. In 2018, he planned his personal dance performance “Incarnation, Returning to the Original” as the performer and producer. Lin has also been invited by the Taipei Folk Dance Theatre to participate in the 2015 Spotlight Taiwan project in the USA, and by Century Contemporary Dance Company to perform in the National Taichung Theater Prelude: Les Noces/Le Sacre Du Printemps. He has performed in the USA, Italy, France, Spain, Japan, Korea, India, China, etc. in international arts and cultural exchange platforms. Choreographies that he has created include “Yunnan Land’s Spiritual Transformation via Dance,” “Taiwanese’ Perseverance Shown through Martial Arts,” “Morning Has Broken,” “Girls at piay,” “Drum Dance Array,” “Knife Storm,” “Reciting with Solitude,” “Changes of Life,” “Assassin,” “Where Does One Belong,” “The Drums of Glorious Triumph,” “Endless Sky,” “Breaking Through,” and “Covenant,” etc.
