Ke Mo Huang is a part-time lecturer of the Department of Dance at Tainan University of Technology in Taiwan. She holds a master's degree in Education from National Taitung University in Taiwan, and she studied in the Dance Department of the Art History Institute of the University Grénoble II in France. She used to be a senior dancer and full-time teacher of the first contemporary dance company in southern Taiwan—Wu-Zhi-Ya-Ji. She has performed Doris Humphrey's "Water Study" and Leon Koning, Jim May, Peng Jinyao, Liang Ruirong, Luo Manfei, Wang Yunyou the works of these choreographers, co-created the performance Hétoïse et... at the Grénoble Urban Summer Dance Festival in France in 1990. Since 2005, Ke Mo has studied the teaching of multi-art and dance improvisation, and has written "Children's dance teaching" and "Dance Teaching". Her current teaching subjects include Improvisation and Creation, Performance, Introduction to Dance, Art Appreciation and Aesthetics. |
